Welcome to the web site of Troop 369! Our troop can provide you and your son the opportunity to participate in activities that are not available to many other boys of his age. The goal of our troop and the Boy Scouts of America Program is to build our Scouts into successful young men of exceptional honor and character. The Boy Scouts of America Program will also provide our Scouts with ample opportunities to improve their teamwork and leadership skills.

Patrol Leaders Council Meeting

This week is a patrol leaders council meeting. Only youth leaders need attend. See everyone on the 17th.

Christmas Tree and wreath sale was a great success. We do have a small tree remaining to be donated to a needy family if you know someone. Thank you for your participation!

Christmas Tree Sale

Merry Christmas all!

This Saturday marks the opening day of our annual Christmas tree fundraiser. Scouts are expected to arrive Saturday, December 7 at 7:30 am. We will work the tree sale until about 4:00 pm. If everything goes well the sale will last one weekend.

When	Saturday December 7 from 730 to 430
Where	Visitation BVM Parking lot next to the parking lot exit
Who	Scouts and parents are needed to sell trees and oversee the scouts
What	Christmas Tree Sale and Fundraiser, socialize with the community
Attire	Dress warm, please have a hat and gloves.
Food	We will have donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, and hot dogs

Scouts should practice several knots such as the square knot, taut line and two half hitch knot. A pocket knife is also handy.

This link is a simple method to secure a Christmas Tree to the roof of a car. Remember tree trunk always goes forward.

Adults will need to be helpful in lifting the trees to the roof's of the cars. Feel free to login on the website and sign up for the event indicating how long you are available to help.

Scouting for Food

Wow! Buckle up! Its Scouting for Food Season. The troop will be very active Saturday morning placing door hangers throughout the community announcing the pick-up date for Scouting for Food.

Door hanger placement is Saturday November 9 from 9:00 to 12:00. Participation is required. Please wear Class A uniforms.

Bag retrieval and food retrieval is Saturday November 16 from 9:30 to 12:30. We will have hot chocolate, hot dogs and soft pretzels. We will load the food on the truck for the Patrician Society. Participation is required. Please wear Class A.
